![]() ![]() Taylor covered all the basics, and I agree in saying you cover the metagame pretty safely with the team as it is right now. But I'm sure you can avoid status coming in on them two.Įdit: Big Mamoswine weakness and I missed it. Infernape dies considerably fast due to Life Orb (and note it can enduce burn anyway) while Gliscor and Dragonite are the only ones who don't want to be affected by status. ![]() Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Calm Mind and Softboild why not? Aromatheraphy won't be helping effectively, as Starmie and Blissey both have Natural Cure for status, then include Machamp and its Rest + Sleep Talk to absorb incoming status. More importantly, it covers this minor Calm Mind weakness. I think Calm Mind Blissey would be pretty creative and unexpected, to say the least. And while I'm on the topic Suicune also can set up not phazed by the weak Thunderbolt from your Starmie, as it only delivers roughly 28% of damage after Suicune gets in one Calm Mind. In fact, I think the Mismagnius is the exact same in regards to the Calm Mind and Substitute strategy. Replacing it with Thunder Wave seems to be the most likely, considering your Infernape and Dragonite don't nescessarily need the opposing Pokemon paralyzed considering Infernape is fast and Dragonite sweeps with Dragon Dance (increasing its own speed). Maybe Seismic Toss to patch up slight weakness. Raikou will beat you with Substitute, as Ice Beam from Blissey isn't going to break the Substitute while Raikou 2HKOs eventually proceeding to OHKO the rest of your team. It is a well built team, that is for certain. Machamp is that singular Tyranitar counter while your main offense is Infernape to break up the team in order for the Dragonite sweep. Blissey, Gliscor and Starmie work very well together in countering the majority of OU threats. Well it has the nescessary counters for the metagame.
